Thanks Easter Bunny!

This year, the Easter bunny was especially nice to me. Not only did I get to wear my special Easter dress, but I got TWO Easter baskets, had an Easter egg hunt and got to see all my favorite people! Mommy and Daddy's friends Paige and Colin invited us all over for what they call the "Orphans Easter Celebration." It's a celebration for all of us who don't have lots of family in town, but want to participate in a big celebration. Here I am picking up Easter eggs. It was so fun! You know, I have done this one time before. So I was running around, picking them up like an old pro.

It was a little chilly on Easter Sunday, so Mommy had me wear a sweater. I sure was glad, too, because it kept my arms nice and warm while I was gathering all those eggs!

Look at all the eggs I got. The Easter Bunny didn't hold back on putting plenty of eggs all around the back yard. And... they were filled with candy! I almost missed a couple of eggs because I was too busy stuffing my mouth full of jelly beans! Yummy!

This is Seth. He was this super-sweet boy that I hunted Easter eggs with. He was so adorable! Every time he'd go and pick up an egg, he'd come and give it to me. I tell ya, I sure do know how to wrap those boys around my little finger already! Oh, and his hugs were the best!

Yeah. Seth and I were fast friends. He's two, too, so that made it even better, that we spoke the same language. I think we'll be friends forever.

Daddy helped with the big Easter egg hunt, too. He helped me find all the tough ones. Then, we opened up all the eggs and ate what was inside. I have a sneaking suspicion that I didn't get all my candy back... Hmm....

Nana came with us to the Easter celebration, too. It sure was neat having her there. And I think she had fun, too. The lunch was just like Thanksgiving. There was turkey, pork, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes. All the fixins. We were in hog heaven!

When we got home, I was so pumped full of sugar, I didn't know what to do with myself. So Mommy took some more pictures and I went inside and tried not to crash from the sugar high I had all afternoon.

Easter was really fun this year. I got to spend it with Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Kandis, Tammy and Matt — all my favorite people. Thank you Paige and Colin, for opening your home to us. I can't wait to see you again next year!

Trinity At Two

Yes. It's true. I AM TWO YEARS OLD! Can you believe it? It seemed like just yesterday, I was drinking from a bottle and keeping Mommy and Daddy awake every night. But, now that I'm two, I'm having so much fun being a big girl — running, jumping, playing, counting and singing are just some of my daily activities. Life's just getting better and better as I learn and grow more each and every day! To document how big I've gotten in my two whole years of life, Matt, Tammy and Mommy took me out to Las Colinas for pictures. Take a peek below. And if you want to order one, email info@mattnicolosi.com. I won't be Terrifically Two forever!

Cock-A-Doodle-Doo, Trinity Turned 2!

Sunday, April 15th, was a VERY BIG DAY for me! I turned 2 years old! To celebrate my second year, Mommy and Daddy went all out and threw me a barnyard party right in my very own backyard! It was SO FUN! There was a real life petting zoo with baby animals AND a pony. Can you believe it?! Mom and GG also painted this huge mural to make it feel like we were really on a farm. I tell ya, it sure did feel like it with all the fun we were having. Then, after the petting zoo, we got to eat mini burgers, cheesy popcorn and birthday cake! Mom and Dad had been singing "Happy Birthday" to me all week, but it still didn't prepare me for the moment when I could blow out my own candles. It was too cool! It was so much fun, I can't wait until next year!

It's Easy Being Green

On St. Patrick's Day, Mommy and Daddy took me down to see the Lower Greenville St. Patrick's Day Parade. And boy was it fun! First, we met at a friends's house for a little breakfast and socializing. All I wanted to do was play with all the green beads and toys they had. And they had a lot! Then it was off to the parade. There were so many people, I was really excited!

During the parade, Daddy let me sit on top of his shoulders so I could see all the pretty floats and people march by. Isn't he the best Daddy in the whole world?!

I had so much fun waving at everyone that passed by. And I felt really special, too. It seemed like they all tried their hardest to throw their candy and beads directly to me! But I had an advantage over the other little kids around me... I had my trusty monkey backpack on with the super-long tail for Mommy to hold, so I could get really close to all the action. It was just like I was part of the parade!

Boy was I having a fun. I felt like the whole parade was just for me! (And just so you know, my shot glass necklace was for... milk!)

I got so many beads thrown to me, I didn't know what to do!

"Tappy" (Tammy) was with us, too. She helped me gather up as many beads and pieces of candy as possible. Then, when it all got too much for me, she would hold on to everything I gave her. What a great pal!

I sure did have fun with my Daddy, too. He kept a good eye on me so that I didn't stray too far. I love my Daddy.

What a fun day at the St. Patrick's Day parade! It's easy being green!

My Very First Haircut

My first haircut was an event to remember. My Gampa, Daddy and Mommy all took me. They wanted to be there for me on my big day. I didn't need much hair cut, but I did need a trim. My hair was growing so fast that it looked a little wispy on the ends. So Mommy decided that she would take me to Cool Cuts for Kids. It's this really cool place where you can get your hair cut... and it's just for kids!

They had a play area where I played with lots of cars and trucks and even had TVs to watch that were just my size.

Time to get ready for my very first haircut! I was nervous, but Daddy was there to help comfort me.

Hey! This isn't so bad! I had a really cool car to sit in, Blues Clues on the television and Mommy let me have my very first lollipop, so I had plenty of distractions!

Boy, this lollipop is good! I didn't know what I was missing. I could sit through three more haircuts today, as long as I had a lollipop!

A little snip here... a little snip there.

Well, my haircut is over and I've still got a little of my lollipop left, so I'm not movin'! This haircut was a piece of cake. I don't know what all the hubub was about!

The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Right after Christmas, my GG came to visit and we went to the Gaylord Texan to check out all the neat Christmas decorations they had there. GG let me sit in Santa's sled with her. What a treat!

Look at me! I've grown a mighty bright nose. Maybe Santa will let me pull his sleigh!

Everything IS bigger in Texas!

I had fun with Mommy next to the geiser. It sprayed really high and made me giggle a lot.

Mommy's tickling me. Stop! Mommy! Stop! I can't breathe!

Boy, I needed a little time to chill in my stroller. The Gaylord Texas is a really big place!

I think my GG thinks I'm pretty special.

All those poinsettias are wearing pink, just like me!

My mommy and GG... Two peas in a pod.

Feliz Navidad

The week before Christmas, we visited my "Gampa" and Grandma in San Antonio and boy was it fun. I not only got lots and lots of presents from my "Mexicano" side of the family, but Mommy, Daddy and "Gampa" took me to La Margarita for lunch while we were there. Noooooo... I did NOT have a margarita! (Not that I didn't want to try one). But I did get to listen to lots of mariachis who even let me strum on their guitars. And the singing was SO beautiful, I just kept dancing and dancing. I think I might have a future as a flaminco dancer! Aay! Ay! Ay!

My "Gampa" and Grandma were so glad to see me... they just spoiled me rotten!
And I got my very first Dora the Explorer doll from my Uncle Rick. I'm just so darn lucky!!

Bathtime Is Funtime

I just LOVE to take a bath. Every night after dinner, I look at Mommy and Daddy and say "Bath!" Then I run into my room, grab a diaper and some pajamas and.... Splish splash... I'm taking a bath!!

I know that before I play, I've got to get good and clean. First, I wash my face, then I work my way all the way down to my toes. I think my body is a hoot. And I know all the names for my different parts. It's fun getting clean!

Then, it's playtime. I just love to laugh and make goofy faces. And splashing Mommy and Daddy is the most fun of all!

See you next time!!!!

Many Thanks On Thanksgiving

This year, for Thanksgiving, Mommy, Nana and Daddy took me to see my Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Bobby in Memphis, TN. What a trip! We first flew to Little Rock, AR, then rented a car and drove to Memphis. I'm still under two years old, so I get to fly for free. But that also means that I have to sit on my Mommy or Daddy's lap. And boy am I a squirmer! I can't help it. There are so many people to look at and talk to. I just don't want to sit still. In fact, if I had it my way, I'd run up and down the aisles of the airplane the entire flight touching everything in sight!

On the Friday after Thanksgiving, I got to take my bery first trip to the ZOO! We went with all of my cousins, Mommy and Uncle Bobby, too. I couldn't believe my eyes! All the animals that Mommy and Daddy would read to me about were right there in front of me. It was unbelievable! I got SO EXCITED when I saw them. There were monkeys and rhinoceroses, cows and lions and even a baby giraffe! And the amazing thing was that all the animals actually did make those sounds from my books at home. The cows went "Moo" and the monkeys went "Ooo-oo-ooo!" They were so amazing and I wanted to get so close to the bars, at times Mommy thought I might just slip right through!

Here I come Mr. Elephant! I'm coming to pet you!

Hello Mr. Panda Bear! I had fun watching you eat your lunch. I can't believe this glass lets me get so close to you!

My Uncle Bobby was the BEST! When I didn't want to ride in my stroller anymore, he would pick me up and carry me. I just loved it when we saw the pink flamingos... and they weren't even in anyone's front yard!

Well, the trip is over now and I'm home. As you can see, I'm still so little that I can fit in my Daddy's suitcase. I sure am glad he didn't make me go all the way to Memphis in it! Boy, did I have a terrific time on Thanksgiving. I got to ride on an airplane, see all of my family on my Daddy's side, play with all my cousins and even go to the zoo for the first time. I'm the luckiest girl in the whole wide world! Traveling is fun, but I'm also glad to be home. Time to get back into my routine... see you next time!

A Halloween To Be Seen!

Well, this was the bery furst time I trick-or treated. I was dressed as a Texas Tech Cheerleader and boy was I nerrrrrvous! Daddy could tell I had no idea of what to do, so he took me through a practice-run at home. He showed me how to knock on the door, say "trick or treat" and reach into a bowl to get my candy. We're off to the first house!

Knock! Knock! Is anybody there?! Trick or Treat! Trick or Treat! I couldn't hold my pale bery well, so I just put it on the doormat, knocked on the door and took a big step back. I hope somebody's home!

They ARE home! Yippee! I don't even know what candy is, but when this nice man offered me a big bowl of little things wrapped in colorful papers, I just couldn't resist! Daddy kept saying "Only two," but I was so excited, I just kept filling my pale!

Yeah! Mommy helped me at this house. They are our nice neighbors right across the street. We were their bery furst trick-or-treaters, so they had lots of candy!

All done! Wow! Look at all this candy! And I only went to six houses!

I just had the best time taking the candy out of my pale and putting it back in. I just love organizing. Then one time, I accidentally put a chocolate one in my mouth. Boy! Oh, boy! I never knew what I was missing! That chocolate put happy shivers all up and down my spine!

But my most favoritist part of the whole night was when trick-or-treaters would come to my house. When they would knock, I would say to Mommy and Daddy, "Uh-oh, door!" Then we'd all race to the front hall, fling the door open and dole out the candy. And all the mommies and daddies that were with their kids commented on how cute I was in my halloween outfit. And when they did that, I'd say "Rah! Rah!Rah!" The only sad part was when they had to go. I'd usually follow then out halfway down the sidewalk saying "Bye-bye," and waving. But that's just what I like to do. What a time... what a night... and oh, what fun!
